Do you drive your Ford Explorer everywhere? If you want to keep better track of your fuel efficiency or need to report your mileage for work, you’ll need to know how to reset the trip mileage on your vehicle. Follow along with these step-by-step instructions.
2011 – 2023 Models
- Press and hold the “OK” button on the current screen of the trip computer.
- Continue holding the button until the respective trip information resets to zero.
- Release the button, and your trip mileage should be reset.
2006 – 2010 Models
- Use the setup reset buttons, which are located on the steering wheel or dashboard, to access the trip odometer.
- Press and hold the reset button.
- Release the reset button once the odometer shows zero.
