2000 – 2023 Models

  1. Purchase a new CR2450 lithium battery. For models older than 2018, use a CR2023 battery. 
  2. Use a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob case.
  3. Remove the old battery from the key fob.
  4. Insert the new battery into the key fob with the positive (+) side facing up.
  5. Close the key fob case and snap it back together.
