2020 – 2023 Models

  1. Close all vehicle doors, and make sure all key fobs are present.
  2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the “On” position (without starting the engine).
  3. Press and hold the “Lock” and “Unlock” buttons simultaneously on the first key fob for about 7-10 seconds.
  4. Release the buttons. You may hear a chime or see the lights flash to indicate that the programming mode has been entered.
  5. If you’re programming additional key fobs, perform this step for each one within 30 seconds of entering the programming mode.
  6. Once in programming mode, press any button on the first key fob. You should hear a chime or see the lights flash, indicating successful programming.
  7. If you have other key fobs, press any button on each of them within 30 seconds of programming the first one. Each key fob should produce the chime or flash to confirm successful programming.
  8. Turn the ignition off and remove the key from the ignition.

1995 – 2019 Models

  1. Close all doors and the rear hatch.
  2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the “ON” position (do not start the engine).
  3. Press and hold the “Unlock” button on an existing remote while continuing to hold the “Unlock” button, then press the “Panic” button twice.
  4. Release both buttons. The doors should lock and unlock to confirm successful programming.
