How to Fold Down the Rear Seats in a Chevy Cruze

2016 – 2023 Models

1. Start by removing any clutter or objects from the rear seating area.
2. Slide the front seats forward to allow the rear seat to fold down.
3. Locate and push the seat back release button.
4. Push the rear seatback forward.

2011 – 2015 Models

1. Take a minute to clean up the backseat area. Remove loose items or debris so they don’t get in the way.
2. Move the front seats forward to allow the rear seats to fold.
3. Look for and pull the seat back release latch at the top of the rear seat, where it meets the backrest.
4. Push the seat back forward. It should easily fold down flat, merging with the trunk floor.
