2016 – 2022 Models

There is more than one way to regain access to your stereo system.

Method 1

  1. Press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds.
  2. A popup message will ask if you want to reboot the system. Hit yes, and your system will reset.

Note: There are instances where this popup doesn’t appear, but the system reboots automatically.

Method 2

  1. Take a peek inside your glove box for the radio code, check the individualized ID-sized card that accompanies the manual, or get it from Honda’s OEM website.
  2. Turn on the ignition.
  3. Type in the code to unlock the system.

2009 – 2015 Models

  1. Search for a 5-digit number within your glove box. Check your manual for an anti-theft radio card if you can’t find the code within the glove box. The code will be at the bottom. Contact your local Honda dealer for assistance if you still haven’t found your code.
  2. Type in this number via the preset buttons to get the radio working.

2001 – 2008 Models

  1. Power off your radio.
  2. Simultaneously push and hold the first and last preset buttons for a second or two.
  3. Turn on the radio with your other hand.
  4. The screen will display one alphabetical letter followed by four digits, then another alphabetical letter then another set of four digits.
  5. Combine these digits leaving out the alphabetical letters, and enter this number via the preset buttons.
  6. The system will unlock.

2000 Model

  1. Remove the radio unit from the dashboard.
  2. Check the back for a sticker for the serial number.
  3. Enter this number along with your VIN on radio-navicode.honda.com to receive the unlock code.
  4. Type in this code into your radio to unlock it.
