The Automatic Door Lock/Unlock feature in your Honda Pilot allows you to control when your vehicle doors lock and unlock. Below you will find the uncomplicated steps to program this awesome component.
- With your vehicle in the ON position without starting the engine.
- Press the HOME button located on the LEFT side of the steering wheel.
- Press the UP and DOWN arrows to highlight SETTINGS within the instrument cluster.
- Press ENTER.
- Press the UP and DOWN arrows to highlight VEHICLE CUSTOMIZATION.
- Press ENTER.
- Press the UP and DOWN arrows to highlight DOOR SETUP.
- Press ENTER.
- Press the UP and DOWN arrows to highlight AUTO DOOR LOCK.
- Press ENTER.
- Use the UP and DOWN arrows to scroll through and CHECK MARK the options you want to enable
- Activating the locks when the vehicle reaches 10mph.
- When you shift out of park.
- And Off is to cancel Auto Lock completely.
- Press ENTER.
- Press the UP and DOWN arrows to highlight EXIT.
- Press ENTER.
- Thereafter, you can use the UP and DOWN arrows to locate AUTO DOOR UNLOCK where you will see 4 choices to enable or disable.
- All 4 doors when the Driver’s door opens.
- All doors when you shift into park.
- All doors when the ignition is switched off.
- Off to cancel Auto Unlock completely.
- After you have made your selections, press ENTER.
- Press the UP and DOWN arrows to highlight EXIT.
- Press ENTER
Programming COMPLETE!
If you are unable to program the Automatic Door Lock/Unlock on the first try, REPEAT the steps. If you are still unsuccessful, contact the dealership for assistance or consult your vehicle user’s manual.
