2103 – 2022 Models

Soft Reset

  1. Turn your car on.
  2. Press and hold the radio power button for two seconds and a soft reset should occur.

Hard Reset

You will need your radio code to complete a hard reset of your stereo. To obtain your radio code:

  1. Obtain your car’s VIN. You can find this in a few places, such as the driver’s door frame, the driver’s dashboard directly under the windshield, and your insurance or registration card.
  2. Once you have your VIN contact your local Honda dealer to receive your five-digit radio code.

With your radio code in hand:

  1. Turn on your car to ON or ACC.
  2. Turn on your radio.
  3. The radio display should read CODE.
  4. Enter your radio code using your preset numbers or tuner knob.
  5. Once the code is inputted correctly, the radio should return to its normal function.

1998 – 2006 Models

You will need your radio code to complete a hard reset of your stereo. To obtain your radio code:

  1. Obtain your car’s VIN. You can find this in a few places, such as the driver’s door frame, the driver’s dashboard directly under the windshield, and your insurance or registration card.
  2. Once you have your VIN contact your local Honda dealer to receive your five-digit radio code.

With your radio code in hand:
