2017-2022 Models

  1. Check to ensure your phone is compatible.
  2. Park the Honda HR-V and switch on the ignition.
  3. Press the infotainment system button and bring up the phone screen.
  4. When pairing for the first time, you’ll have a prompt asking if you want to add a new phone. Highlight Yes by rotating and pressing the selector knob.
  5. Put your phone in Search or discoverable mode.
  6. Press the selector knob when your phone comes up on the list.
  7. If the phone doesn’t appear, select Phone Not Found.
  8. Search for Bluetooth Devices.
  9. Select HandsFreeLink.
  10. Press Confirm when you receive a pairing code on the audio screen.
  11. Ensure the code matches what you receive on your phone.
  12. When the pairing is done, you’ll receive a notification on the screen.

2012- 2016 Models

  1. Shift the Honda HR-V into Park.
  2. Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth.
  3. Go to the Honda Display.
  4. Go to settings.
  5. On your phone, you’ll see a list of Bluetooth devices.
  6. Click add Bluetooth device.
  7. Go to the display list.
  8. Select your phone.

If your mobile device doesn’t appear on the list:

  1. Go to Add Bluetooth device screen.
  2. Click “Device Not Found.”
  3. Go to “Devices” on your phone.
  4. Search for “HandsFreeLink.”
  5. The dashboard system will recognize your device and display a 6-digit code.
  6. Press “Pair” once you confirm the code matches what’s on your phone.

How Do I Play Music in My Honda- HR-V?

  1. Go to the vehicle’s display.
  2. Press the media button until it selects Bluetooth audio.
