2017-2022 Models
- Check to ensure your phone is compatible.
- Park the Honda HR-V and switch on the ignition.
- Press the infotainment system button and bring up the phone screen.
- When pairing for the first time, you’ll have a prompt asking if you want to add a new phone. Highlight Yes by rotating and pressing the selector knob.
- Put your phone in Search or discoverable mode.
- Press the selector knob when your phone comes up on the list.
- If the phone doesn’t appear, select Phone Not Found.
- Search for Bluetooth Devices.
- Select HandsFreeLink.
- Press Confirm when you receive a pairing code on the audio screen.
- Ensure the code matches what you receive on your phone.
- When the pairing is done, you’ll receive a notification on the screen.
2012- 2016 Models
- Shift the Honda HR-V into Park.
- Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth.
- Go to the Honda Display.
- Go to settings.
- On your phone, you’ll see a list of Bluetooth devices.
- Click add Bluetooth device.
- Go to the display list.
- Select your phone.
If your mobile device doesn’t appear on the list:
- Go to Add Bluetooth device screen.
- Click “Device Not Found.”
- Go to “Devices” on your phone.
- Search for “HandsFreeLink.”
- The dashboard system will recognize your device and display a 6-digit code.
- Press “Pair” once you confirm the code matches what’s on your phone.
How Do I Play Music in My Honda- HR-V?
- Go to the vehicle’s display.
- Press the media button until it selects Bluetooth audio.
