Resetting your Honda Fit stereo system if it’s giving you trouble is important. Resetting the system can clear out any problems that you may be having and help your stereo system run more smoothly.
2015 – 2023 Models
- Turn the power knob to the “OFF” position.
- Push and hold the “Power/Volume” knob to the right until you hear a beep.
- Release the “Power/Volume” knob and press the “FM/AM” button.
- The stereo will then reset itself.
2001 – 2014 Models
- Turn off the engine and all of the accessories.
- Remove the negative battery terminal and leave it off for at least 1 minute.
- Reattach the negative battery terminal.
- Turn on the engine and press and hold the power button on the stereo for 10 seconds.
- Turn off the engine again.
- Remove the negative battery terminal again.
- Reattach the negative battery terminal.
- Turn on the engine, and the stereo system should be reset.
