The Honda CRV has a feature that shows you the Engine Oil Life. It is shown as a percentage. The higher the percentage number, the more Engine Oil Life you have left.
You’ll need to reset the Engine Oil Life indicator when you change the oil. Here’s how it is done.

Awesome. Tx for this post. Had oil changed and could not figure this out.
I agree. Gave me the correct information. Honda can sell a $40,000 CR-V, but can’t publish an owner’s manual that is specific to certain model
Hello! Very informative article! I have 2019 honda crv ex with touchscreen. I was getting maintenance code B so after changing engine oil and filter, I tried “Settings” > “Vehicle” > “Maintenance Info” > “Select Reset Items” > “Engine Oil Life” method like you suggested above.
Somehow it switched to maintenance code A. I tried to clear it using the same method above but it still doesn’t go away.
I really appreciate if you can provide some idea to clear this code.
Thank you!
I accidentally reset the oil Maintenance light from 15% back to 100%!
Can it be reset back to the correct 15%?
