GMC Yukon: Connect a Phone

Your GMC Yukon allows you to connect your phone to your car to enjoy entertainment features and convenience features such as hands-free calling.

2021 – 2022 Models

  1. Turn on your phone and enable your Bluetooth.
  2. On your GMC’s infotainment display, touch Bluetooth.
  3. Click “add device.”
  4. Follow the screen prompts to pair the device.

Alternatively:

  1. On your infotainment screen, go to the setting icon (for the Bluetooth app).
  2. Touch “Devices” to add, switch, or disconnect devices.
  3. Tap Bluetooth Audio (a browse screen will display).
  4. Tap Infotainment controls.
  5. Click “Pair.”

 2017 – 2020 Models

You may use the GMC Yukon’s infotainment touchscreen:

  1. On your vehicle’s touchscreen, tap the phone 📞 icon.
  2. Select connect or add a new phone.
  3. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
  4. On your phone, of generated options, choose your vehicle.
  5. Check that the code displayed on your phone matches what the infotainment screen shows.
  6. On the infotainment screen, click “Pair” (accept the pairing on your phone)

2011 – 2016 Models

  1. On your vehicle’s touchscreen, press the Push to Talk button.
  2. Say “Bluetooth” (the system will say “Bluetooth ready”).
  3. After the beep, say, “Pair.”
  4. The system will say, “Start search on Bluetooth phone.”
  5. Search for Bluetooth connections on your phone.
  6. Choose your vehicle from the options provided.
  7. On the screen, enter a 4-digit code given to you by your car.
  8. The pairing is complete.
