2010 – 2023 Models

You can also use two methods to connect your smartphone to your GMC Acadia.

Method 1: Using the Infotainment Touchscreen

  1. Ensure your car is turned on and in park.
  2. On the touchscreen of the vehicle, touch the phone icon.
  3. Navigate through the touchscreen to locate the “add phone” or “pair device” button.
  4. Enable the Bluetooth setting on your smartphone to ensure it is discoverable.
  5. Select your vehicle from the available list.
  6. Check the prompted code on your phone and confirm that it matches the code on the infotainment touchscreen.
  7. Click the pair button on the infotainment screen.
  8. Click agree or confirm to enable the system to access the phone contain if it prompts.
  9. The pairing will be complete, and the infotainment screen will display the available phones.

Method 2: Using Voice Recognition

  1. Push the push-to-talk button and say “Pair Phone” after the tone.
  2. Follow the prompts.
  3. The infotainment screen will display your phone as accessible for making and receiving calls after the pairing process is complete.

2007 – 2009 Models

The 2007–2009 GMC Acadia is not equipped with a built-in Bluetooth connection. However, they have an auxiliary port to connect your phone via an auxiliary cable.

Option 1:

  1. Locate the auxiliary port near the center console or on the dashboard.
  2. Plug the auxiliary cable into the port.
  3. Connect the other end of the auxiliary cable to the headphone jack on your phone.
  4. Turn on the stereo system and switch it to the auxiliary setting.
  5. Select the music or audio source on your phone.
  6. Adjust the volume on the stereo system as desired.

Option 2:

  1. Install a Bluetooth adapter in the vehicle. This may require a professional installation.
