2009 – 2023 Models
After Ford partnered with Microsoft, the SYNC became the proprietary system on the Ford Fiesta. To Perform a SYNC master reset:

- Find SYNC, and delete it.
- Press the MENU button on your head unit screen.
- Scroll to SYNC Settings, then Master Reset.

1995 – 2008 Models
- Turn off the stereo system and remove the key from the ignition.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery using a wrench or pliers. Make sure you don’t touch the positive terminal with the negative cable.
- Wait 15-30 minutes for the stereo system to fully discharge and reset.
- Reconnect the negative battery cable to the battery and tighten it with a wrench or pliers.
- Turn on the ignition and the stereo system to see if the reset was successful.
