2017 – 2022 Models
- Check that the Bluetooth feature on your mobile device is turned on.
- Make sure that your Ford F-150 is powered on and in park.
- On your SYNC multimedia system, navigate to and tap the Phone 📞 icon.
- Your mobile device may now find the system and provide you with a personal identification number (PIN).
- Choose your Ford SYNC system from the available Bluetooth devices on your mobile device list.
- The two should pair, and your SYNC screen will ask to confirm the request to pair.
- The Bluetooth connection between your mobile device and the Ford SYNC system should now be established.
2012 – 2016 Models
- Start your Ford F-150 and ensure your Bluetooth is activated.
- Go to your smartphone’s settings and click on the settings option.
- Turn on the Bluetooth to make it discoverable by other devices.
- Press the MEDIA button on your dash twice.
- Press the button that corresponds to Device, then Add.
- On your device, tap on SYNC.
- Ensure that the PINs match, then press Yes on your Ford’s dash and Pair on your device.
- After a moment, your device should be paired with your SYNC.
