  1. Exit the car and move to the rear of the Explorer to locate the fuel door.
  2. Press the right side of the fuel door, release and the fuel door will pop open.

1995 – 2010 Models

  1. Exit the car and move to the rear of the Explorer to locate the fuel door.
  2. Insert your finger into the raised lip and pull the door outward.

    There’s also a third model that has a trunk release button on the left side of the steering wheel on the console.
