2020 – 2022 with Sync 4
- Select Settings on your screen.
- Select Reset.
- Select Master Reset.
- Confirm the reset and wait for the system to reboot.
2016 – 2019 with Sync 3
Soft Reset (Does Not Delete Settings)
- Press and hold the Seek Up and Stereo Power buttons simultaneously until the screen goes black.
- Wait at least three minutes for the system to reset.
- Press the Stereo Power to turn the system on.
Hard Reset (Restores to Factory Setting)
- Select Settings on your screen.
- Select General.
- Scroll down until you find Master Reset.
- Confirm the reset by selecting continue.
- The screen will go black and reset, turning back on when complete.
2013 – 2015 with Sync 2
- Press the Aux button.
- Press the Menu button.
- Select Sync Media on the screen.
- Press ok.
- Use the down arrow until you find System Settings.
- Press ok.
- Use the down arrow until you find Advanced.
- Press ok.
- Use the down arrow until you find Master Reset.
- Press ok.
- Confirm the rest by pressing ok.
