Ford Edge 2016-2022 Models
- Turn on your mobile device, your vehicle, and the ford infotainment SYNC system.
- Depending on your phone, go to the mobile device settings, scroll down to the connections option, and activate Bluetooth.
- On the navigation screen, click the add phone feature and select add.
- Go to your phone’s Bluetooth screen and search for available devices.
- From the search list, choose your Ford. You’ll then be asked to enter a six-digit code.
- Your mobile device will prompt you to enter the code on your SYNC screen. Make sure the codes match, then press OK on your phone for the pairing to finish.
- If you want to download your contacts, press OK on the SYNC screen.
- You can turn on the 911 assist by pressing yes on the screen.
Ford Edge 2011-2015 Models
- Enable Bluetooth on your phone to allow the ford SYNC system to connect to your phone.
- On the infotainment SYNC system screen, press the phone settings button.
- The system will then display a phone menu on the screen. Now press ok.
- The “Add a new device” option will pop up again. Press OK to the prompt to begin the pairing process.
- A six-digit pin will appear on the system; go to your phone, and enter the provided pin.
- On the screen, press OK to complete the pairing process.

- Go to phone settings and enable Bluetooth.
- Next to the audio screen is a phone button on the left side or on the steering wheel. Press the button to set up your phone.
- Use the scrolling arrows to select system settings and press the OK button.
- Select the BT devices on the next screen then hit the OK button.
- You will be prompted with a six-digit pin on your phone.
- Match it with the one on the navigation screen, and press OK to pair.
