All Ford Ecosport Models

Before performing a soft or master reset, try turning the audio system on and off again, regardless of your Ecosport model.

  1. Locate your audio power button.
  2. Press the button so your radio turns off.
  3. Wait about 10 seconds before turning the radio back on.

If your screen is frozen or blacked out and you cannot navigate to settings on the screen, try rebooting:

  1. Find the volume knob on the bottom left-hand side of your touch screen.
  2. Press and hold the button in the center of the knob.
  3. Hold long enough until you trigger the system to reboot.

If a radio reboot does not solve the issue, try a system reset. A soft reset will not clear your personalized settings:

  1. Locate the seek up button on your radio and the audio power button in the center of the volume knob.
  2. Press and hold both buttons until the screen goes black.
  3. Ford recommends you wait three minutes for the system to fully reset.
  4. Press the audio power button to turn your radio back on.

If neither of these solutions work, but you can use your display screen, try a master reset. A master reset will restore settings back to factory settings.

  1. Place your car in park. Make sure your Ecosport is still on.
  2. Disconnect all Bluetooth devices.
  3. Go to settings > general on your display screen.
  4. Scroll down the menu until you find master reset.
  5. A confirmation message on the screen will appear. Select continue to continue the master reset.
  6. Your screen will momentarily turn off. This reset may take a few minutes.
