Ford Ecosport: How To Open Trunk

Do you want to access your vehicle’s storage area? This guide outlines how to open the trunk of a Ford EcoSport.

2018 – 2022 Models

Option 1

1. If your vehicle does not have Smart access, unlock all doors using the key fob.
2. Approach your vehicle’s trunk and pull it open.

Option 2

1. For vehicles with Smart access, approach the trunk with your Smart key within three feet from the trunk. It can be in your hand, pocket, bag, purse, etc.
2. Press the tailgate release button under the right tail light.
3. The trunk opens automatically.
