2021 – 2023 Models

  1. Turn the ignition key to the “On” position without starting the engine.
  2. Use the right arrow button on the steering wheel to scroll through the menu until you reach “Settings.” Then press the OK button on the steering wheel.
  3. Use the right arrow button to scroll through the menu until you reach “Vehicle.” Then press the OK button.
  4. Use the right arrow button to scroll through the menu until you reach “Oil Life.” Then press the OK button.
  5. Use the up or down arrow to highlight “Reset.” Press the OK button.
  6. Use the up or down arrow to highlight “Yes.” Press the OK button.
  7. The message “Oil Life Reset Complete” should appear on the dashboard display.
  8. Turn off the ignition.

2011 – 2020 Models

  1. Turn the ignition key to the “On” position without starting the engine.
  2. Press the “Setup” button located near the speedometer display.
  3. Use the “+” or “-” button to scroll to “System Check” and press the “Reset” button located on the dashboard near the speedometer display.
  4. Use the “+” or “-” button to scroll to “Oil Life.” Press the “Reset” button.
  5. The display will show “Hold Reset = New.” Press and hold the “Reset” button until the display shows “Oil Life % 100.”
  6. Release the “Reset” button.
  7. Turn off the ignition.

2006 – 2010 Models

  1. Turn the ignition key to the “Off” position.
  2. Locate the “Setup” button near the speedometer display. Press and release this button.
  3. Use the “+” or “-” buttons to scroll through the options until “Oil Life” is displayed.
  4. Press and hold the “Reset” button located on the dashboard near the speedometer display.
  5. Continue to hold the “Reset” button until the “Change Oil” light on the dashboard begins to flash.
  6. Once the light starts flashing, release the “Reset” button.
  7. Press and release the “Reset” button again quickly within 5 seconds. The “Change Oil” light should go out.
  8. Turn the ignition key to the “Off” position.

1995 – 2005 Models

  1. Turn the ignition key to the “Off” position.
  2. Locate the “Trip/Reset” button near the odometer display. Press and hold this button.
  3. While holding the “Trip/Reset” button, turn the ignition key to the “On” position. Do not start the engine.
  4. Hold the “Trip/Reset” button until the “Change Oil” light on the dashboard flashes.
  5. Once the light starts flashing, release the “Trip/Reset” button.
  6. After releasing the “Trip/Reset” button, press and hold it again for approximately five seconds until the light goes out.
  7. Turn the ignition key to the “Off” position.

After a brief countdown, the Oil Life will be reset.
