Dodge Journey vehicles are not electric. They must have gas to run. Opening the fuel door isn’t a complex process. However, sometimes the steps change from year to year and brand to brand. 2009 – 2020 Models
- Exit the vehicle.
- Walk to the rear left side of the vehicle.
- Slide a finger under the lip on the fuel door.
- Pull the door open.
Closing the Fuel Door: Push the fuel door closed when you are finished. No latch will engage; however, the door will remain closed until you pull it open again.
