Car owners/drivers must be aware of their tires. The car isn’t going anywhere if the tires aren’t in good condition. The Dodge Dart has a Tire Pressure Monitoring System or TPMS to warn owners/drivers of an issue.
After addressing the issue, the system must be reset. Below are directions for resetting the TPMS on a Dodge Dart.

2013 – 2016 Models
Low Tire Pressure
- When the Tire Pressure Monitoring System warning turns on, check which tire is low with a Pressure Gauge.
- Inflate the low tire until it is at the recommended PSI.
- Drive the vehicle for 20 minutes above 15 mph. The TPMS system will reset automatically.
New or Repaired Tire
- Place the new or repaired tire(s) on the vehicle.
- Make sure the tire is at the recommended PSI.
- Drive the vehicle for 20 minutes above 15 mph. The TPMS system will reset automatically.
New Sensor or Other Malfunction
- Make sure all tires are at the recommended PSI.
- Drive the vehicle for 20 minutes above 15 mph. The TPMS system will reset automatically.
Note: If this does not reset the system, you should take it to a certified mechanic or dealership.
