Dodge Dart cars need gas to run, which is just a fact of life. You won’t go anywhere if the tank is empty, even if everything else works. Opening the fuel door is a simple process. However, it can be different from brand to brand. You don’t want to be at the gas station wasting time while figuring out how to release the fuel door.
Below are directions for opening or releasing the fuel door.
2015 – 2016 Models
- Exit the vehicle and walk to the fuel door on the rear of the vehicle.
- Press on the center-rear edge of the fuel door. The door will pop open slightly.
- Pull the door open.
2013 – 2014 Models
- Press the fuel door release button near the driver’s side door.
- Walk to the fuel door on the rear of the vehicle.
- Pull open the fuel door.
Closing the Fuel Door: Push the fuel door closed when you have finished filling the car with gas. The latch will engage and remain closed until you open it again.
