Dodge Dart: How to Connect a Phone

Almost every car driver/owner has a phone and wants to connect it to the car. Pairing a phone isn’t a complex process. Below are directions for connecting a phone to the Dodge Dart.

2013 – 2016 Models

Voice Commands

1. Press the Phone button.
2. The car system will say, “Ready.”
3. Say “Device Pairing.”
4. Say “Pair a Device” when prompted. The system will ask you to say a PIN.
5. Say the PIN you want to use. You will need this later in the process.
6. Open the Settings app on your phone.
7. Tap Bluetooth.
8. Tap the Bluetooth option for your car.
9. Enter the PIN you gave the system.
10. When prompted, give your phone a name.
11. The system will ask if you want your phone to be your favorite. Answer Yes or No as you choose.

Touch Screen

1. Open the Settings app on your phone.
2. Tap Bluetooth.
3. Tap the Phone on the touch screen. If no phone is connected, a pop-up will appear asking if you want to pair a phone. Tap Yes. If no phone is connected, tap Settings. Then Add Device.
4. Tap UConnect in the Bluetooth options on your phone.
5. Verify the PIN on your phone is the same as on the touch screen.
6. Tap Yes on the touch screen.
7. Tap Pair on your phone.
8. You will be asked if you want to make your phone the favorite. Tap Yes or No as you decide. Your phone is now connected.
