Dodge Charger: How To Open Trunk

Almost every car driver/owner utilizes the cargo space in the trunk. Below are directions for opening the trunk of a Dodge Charger.

2011 – 2023 Models

Fob

1. Press the trunk button on the fob twice. The trunk will unlock and partially open.
2. Lift the trunk open the rest of the way.

Inside the Vehicle

1. Press the trunk release button on the dash to the left side of the steering wheel. The trunk will open partially.
2. Walk to the back of the vehicle.
3. Lift the trunk open the rest of the way.

At the Trunk

1. If your fob has a Passive Entry transmitter, have the fob within 5 ft. of the trunk.
2. Press the button on the right side of the center light bar.
3. Lift the trunk open.

2006 – 2010 Models

Fob

1. Press the trunk button on the fob twice. The trunk will unlock and partially open.
2. Lift the trunk open the rest of the way.

Inside the Vehicle

1. Press the trunk release button on the dash to the left side of the steering wheel. The trunk will open partially.
2. Walk to the back of the vehicle.
3. Lift the trunk open the rest of the way.
