Some might not think that setting a clock in a car is important. Everyone has phones, so why bother setting the clock in a car? Even though many people have phones, it is still a good idea to set the clock in your car to the right time. You can safely check the time without looking at your phone. Also, if you have Daylight Savings Time and your car doesn’t automatically update, you must set your clock to the right time.
Below are the directions for setting the clock in a Dodge Avenger.

2008 – 2014 Models
- Press and hold the Time button until the hours blink.
- Turn the right side Tune knob to change the hours.
- Press the right side Tune knob to move to the minutes.
- Turn the right side Tune knob to change the minutes.
- Press the right side Tune knob to save the new time.
- Press any button to exit or wait five seconds.
1995 – 2000 Models
- Use a paper clip or ballpoint pen to press the H button on the right-hand side of the display screen to adjust the hours.
- Do the same with the M button to adjust the minutes.
