Having your tires correctly inflated is essential for several reasons. For example, if you don’t have the tires at the correct PSI, you could damage the tire, cause the tread to wear unevenly, damage the rim, cause the tire to blow out, and many other reasons. So if your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light comes on, do not ignore it. Figure out why the light came on as soon as possible and correct the issue.

2008 – 2014 Models
Low Tire Pressure
- Fill the low tire to the manufacturer-recommended PSI.
- Drive for 20 minutes above 15 mph. The TPMS will automatically reset.
New or Repaired Tire
- Place the new or repaired tire on the vehicle.
- Make sure the tire is filled to the recommended PSI.
- Drive for 20 minutes above 15 mph. The TPMS will automatically reset.
1995 – 2000 Models
