Knowing how to open/release the fuel door is essential for every car owner. Even if opening the fuel door seems intuitive, each car brand differs. Thankfully, Chrysler kept their methods the same for over 25 years.
1990 – 2016 Models
You can open/release the fuel door in two ways on your Chrysler Town and Country MPV.
Option 1
- Exit the vehicle and go to the fuel door at the back of the car.
- The back of the fuel door will have a raised lip so you can fit your finger.
- Insert your finger under the raised lip.
- Pull the fuel door open.
Option 2
- Exit the vehicle and go to the fuel door at the back of the car.
- Press on the center back area of the fuel door. The fuel door will unlatch.
- Pull the fuel door open.
