Chrysler Town & Country MPV: How to Open the Hood

No matter how experienced you are or aren’t with your car, you need to know how to open the hood. You could only be opening it to check the oil, put in window washer fluid, or make repairs. Opening the hood is relatively simple and easy to learn.

2008 – 2022 Models

1. Make sure the vehicle is stopped and in park.
2. Open the driver’s side door of the vehicle.
3. Below the steering wheel, you will see a lever that says “Press to Release.” Above that is another lever with the image of a car with an open hood.
4. Pull the lever with the image of a car with an open hood.
5. Walk to the front of the car.
6. Find the center of the hood. Move your hand slightly to the left.
7. Slide your hand, palm up, under the hood and feel for a tab.
8. Slide the tab and lift the hood.
9. Release the hood arm and insert it into the hole on the far left of the hood.

1998 – 2007 Models
