Every vehicle requires proper maintenance to keep it running. For example, the oil must be changed regularly to keep the engine properly lubricated. Most cars have a system that will warn drivers/owners when the oil needs to be changed. After changing the oil, the system must be reset.
Below are directions for resetting the oil change light on a Chrysler 200 and 300.
300 Models
2015 – 2023 Models
- Press the Start button to On/Run. Do NOT start the engine.
- Press the down arrow to reach the Vehicle Info menu.
- Press the right arrow to reach the Oil Life menu.
- Press and hold the Ok button.
- The reset is complete when the percentage changes to 100%.
2011 – 2014 Models
- Press the Start button to On/Run. Do NOT start the engine.
- Press the gas pedal down 3x in 10 seconds.
- Press the Start button to turn off the car.
2005 – 2010 Models
- Turn the key to On. Do NOT start the engine.
- Press the gas pedal down 3x in 10 seconds.
- Turn the key to Off.
200 Models
2015 – 2017 Models
- Press the Start button to On/Run. Do NOT start the engine.
- Press the gas pedal down 3x in 10 seconds.
- Press the Start button to turn off the car.
2011 – 2014 Models
- Turn the key to On. Do NOT start the engine.
- Press the gas pedal down 3x in 10 seconds.
- Turn the key to Off.
