If you have an older Chevy Traverse, you will have a disk player/radio with a digital screen below the disk slot. Newer models only have a touchscreen.
Beginning in 2013, the Chevy Traverse offered models with and without a touchscreen radio; this explains the overlap in years below.

2020-2022
- Turn on your Chevy Traverse and turn on your radio.
- Navigate your infotainment to the “Settings” menu from your home screen.
- Tap the feature you want to change; time or date.
- To manually set the time or date, use the displayed controls on your touchscreen to set the time and date. Or you can navigate to “Automatic Time and Date” tap ON or OFF. You can follow the same process to select “Automatic Time Zone” and “24-Hour Format.”
2013-2018
Radios with touchscreen.
- Turn on your Chevy Traverse and turn on your radio.
- On your home screen, you will see “Settings,” press to select.
- Press “Set Time” or “Set Date.”
- Using the up 🔼 and down 🔽 arrows, you can change, increase or decrease the hours, minutes, AM/PM, and 12 or 24 readings. The same process is used when selecting the month, day, and year.
- When finished adjusting the time or date, press “OK” to save your changes.
2009-2017
Radios without a touchscreen.
- Turn on your Chevy Traverse and turn on your radio.
- On the left side of your radio, there is a button with a picture of a clock 🕛. Press this button.
- Your screen will show two lines, for example: 11:15 5/10/2005 and directly underneath: HR MIN MM DD YYYY.
- Under HR, MIN, MM, DD, and YYYY, there are buttons that correspond to the above label. For example, press the button under HR if you are changing the HR.
- Use the volume dial on the right-hand side of your radio to change the selected item up 🔼 or down 🔽.
- Repeat for other changes you want to make.
- When finished making changes, press the clock image 🕛 again.
