2015 – 2022 Models
- Locate the hood release lever in the car’s cabin close to the left-side bottom of the dashboard.
- Pull the release lever outward. The hood will open slightly.
- Place your hand under the hood above the Chevy symbol to feel the safety clutch.
- Move the safety clutch to the right.
- Raise the hood to open.
2000 – 2014 Models
- Locate the hood release lever in the car’s cabin close to the driver’s footrest.
- Pull the release lever outwards. The hood will pop open.
- Place your hand underneath the hood close to its center to feel the safety clutch.
- Pull the safety clutch upwards.
- Raise the hood to open.
