2017 – 2022 Models
Modern Chevrolet cars use a touchscreen MyLink system.
- Turn on your car.
- On the touchscreen display, select the System tab and scroll to the bottom.
- Select Return to Factory Settings.
- From here, you will have two options: Reset Vehicle Settings and Erase Settings and Personal Data. For a full reset, use both options—choose one now and repeat the process to choose the other.
- For each selection, you will see a warning prompt. Select Erase to proceed with the resets.
2016 Models and Earlier
There is a much simpler method to soft reset your radio on older Chevy Spark models; it is as follows:
- Turn on your car and locate your OnStar buttons—they will either be on the ceiling towards the front of your car’s interior or just under the rearview mirror.
- Press the button on the left—the icon looks like a seated person with a signal coming from their head. You will hear a voice from the sound system say, “OnStar ready.”
- Press the button again—the voice will say, “Thank you. Goodbye.” Your sound system is now reset.
