How to Set the Clock

It’s always the right time to make sure you’re on time! If your Chevy Impala is showing the incorrect time, we’ll walk you through how to set the clock.

2014 – 2023 Models

  1. Press SETTINGS on the Home Screen.
  2. Press SET TIME.
  3. Use the up or down to adjust the time.

2013 Model

  1. On your radio, press the clock icon.
  2. Press until the Hours flash.
  3. Use the tuning knob to set the hours.
  4. Press the clock icon to set hours.
  5. Press the clock icon again until the Minutes flash.
  6. Use the tuning knob to set the minutes.
  7. Press the clock icon to set minutes.

2006 – 2012 Models

  1. Turn the key to “On” to activate the dash display.
  2. Turn the radio on.
  3. Press the Clock button (located below FAV).
  4. Press the clock button until the hours or minutes flash.
  5. The display will change, showing “HR MIN MM DD YYYY” (hour, minute, month, day, and year).
  6. When either hours or minutes are flashing, turn the tuning knob clockwise to move hours or minutes upwards or counterclockwise to move downwards. Or, you can use the radio preset buttons (directly below the display) to select which number you’d like to change. A highlighted box will indicate which is chosen.
  7. Use the Left and Right Seek buttons to modify the number.
  8. Press the Clock button to save your time and date.

2000 – 2005 Models

  1. Turn the key to “On” to activate the dash display.
  2. Turn the radio off.
  3. Find the “TUNE/DISP” knob.
  4. Two small buttons are below this knob, to the left and right. Hours is on the left. Minutes is on the right.
  5. Press and hold down the button you want to change for 3 seconds.
  6. You’ll hear a beep and see a small clock icon appear. Now you’re in time-adjusting mode!
  7. You can keep holding down either button to adjust or click to fine-tune rapidly.
  8. When you have the time set as you like, hit the VOL/PWR button to save and return to normal operation.
