2021 – 2023 Models
- On the car screen, press the Home button.
- Press the Phone icon.
- A menu will appear, and you will see a “Connect Phone” with a plus sign.
- Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone. The phone will search for your car, and you will see the name “My Cadillac,” click on it.
- A code will pop up on both the phone and the vehicle. Ensure the codes match and press “Pair” on the car and phone.
- Touch the Allow button on your phone to sync your phone and car.
- You will see a message on your car asking if you want to use car play. Touch “Continue.”
- A pop-up message on your phone will ask if you want to allow car play. Touch “Yes” to allow.
- Your phone car play will appear on your vehicle’s screen, meaning you are now connected.
2015 – 2020 Models
- On your phone, turn on the Bluetooth.
- On the home screen of your car’s display, you will see a Phone icon; click it, then “Pair Device.”
- A pop-up message will appear on the screen telling you to start pairing on your phone.
- You will see the name of the vehicle on your phone. Touch it to start pairing.
- A code will appear on the car’s screen and the phone. Ensure the codes match and click “Pair” on the phone and “Yes” on the car.
- The car will request you to SYNC contacts. Click “Allow” on your phone.
2011 – 2014 Models
- Turn your phone’s Bluetooth On next to your car.
- Hold the “Press to talk button” on your steering wheel.
- Start talking, and say “Bluetooth,” followed by “Pair.”
- Your phone will start searching for new devices. When done, you will see the name of your car appear.
- Tap the vehicle’s name, enter the code on your display, and click “Pair.”
- The car will prompt you to choose a name for your phone. Say the name clearly. Answer “Yes” when the car asks for confirmation.
- Your phone is successfully paired.
2002 – 2010 Models
With AUX Port
- Locate the auxiliary ports of your vehicle.
- Connect either end of the aux cable to the car and your phone.
- Select the AUX option on the display and select either the front or rear AUX option depending on where it has been connected.
- Play some music from your phone. It should play through the car speakers.
Should your car model lack an AUX port by default, you might have to use an FM transmitter to connect your phone to the car speakers.
1999 – 2000 Models
Connection to a mobile device is not available on this car model by default. An FM transmitter may be used to curb that.
