Buick Enclave: How to Reset TPMS

When one or more tires of your Buick Enclave run low on pressure, the Tire Pressure Monitor light will start blinking. Depending on the model of the car, it will also show you a message urging you to fill the affected tires.

After you fill them up, don’t forget to reset the TPMS! This article will help you to know how to reset it in a Buick Enclave. Keep reading.

2018-2023 Model

  1. Fill the affected tires to the required pressure. If you need clarification on how much pressure you need, consult the user’s manual.
  2. Turn your car On with the engine Off.
  3. On the steering wheel, you’ll see the right and left buttons. Use them to navigate to the Information menu.
  4. On the information menu, scroll until you get to Pressure and press OK.
  5. Press and hold the right button until you hear a horn sound.
  6. Place a TPMS Relearn Tool on the tires in the following order: driver’s front tire, passenger’s front tire, passenger’s back tire, and driver’s rear tire.
  7. Press the tool button each time you place the tool on a tire to activate the TPMS sensor. You’ll hear a sharp sound to confirm the TPMS has been reset.
  8. Turn off your car. When you turn it on again, the TPMS sensor light will be gone.

2011-2017 Model

  1. Turn your car On with the engine Off.
  2. Press and hold the RKE(Remote Keyless Entry) lock to unlock buttons.
  3. Release after you hear a horn sound twice.
  4. Use a TPMS Relearn Tool to activate the TPMS sensor in this order: driver’s front tire, passenger’s front tire, passenger’s back tire, and driver’s front tire.
  5. After placing the tool in each tire, wait until you hear a sharp sound to confirm that the TPMS has been reset.
  6. Turn off your car.
  7. Fill the tires to the correct pressure indicated on the placard.

2008-2010 Model

  1. Turn your vehicle On with the engine Off.
  2. Press the Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter and unlock all the buttons.
  3. You’ll see a Tire Learning Active message indicating the process has begun.
  4. Decrease or increase the pressure of each tire to activate the TPMS sensor. Follow this order: driver’s front tire, passenger’s front tire, passenger’s back tire, and driver’s back tire.
  5. Keep adding or reducing the tire pressure until you hear a horn sound.
  6. Turn off the car.
