Buick Enclave: How To Open Trunk

The Buick Enclave has one of the best trunk options. It allows for multiple options, whether hands-on or hands-free. This article highlights the steps to open the trunk of your Buick Enclave.

2018 – 2023 Models

Hands-Free

1. Ensure your key fob is within 3 feet of your car.
2. The Buick logo will illuminate displaying on the ground.
3. Use a kicking motion below the bumper to open the trunk. A left-to-right motion will not work. (Your foot must pass through the illuminated Buick logo for the trunk to open.)
4. The tail lights will flash, indicating the liftgate is opening.

Manual

1. Move to the rear of the car.
2. Locate and press the open trunk button above the license plate.
3. Pull the handle to lift the trunk door open.

Key Fob

1. Ensure your key fob is at least 3 feet from your car.
2. Locate and press the open trunk icon twice.
3. The tail lights will flash, indicating the trunk is unlocked and opening automatically.

Inside the Car

1. Locate and pull the open trunk lever on the driver’s door.
2. The trunk door will open automatically.

2008 – 2017 Models

Key Fob
