2018 – 2023 Models
- Locate the rear door’s child lock button on the edge of the door.
- Open the rear door and flip the child lock button to the “Lock” position.
- Confirm the child safety lock is engaged by trying to open the door from the inside.
- Repeat the process for the other rear door.
2011 – 2017 Models
- Find the child lock switch on the rear door frame, near the latch.
- Unlock the rear door and toggle the child lock switch to the “On” position.
- Close the door and verify if the child lock is functioning from the inside.
- Perform the same procedure on the other rear door.
1990 – 1996 & 2004 – 2010 Models
- Open the rear door and locate the small lever or switch near the door latch.
