2006 – 2020 Models
- Insert one of the existing working key fobs into the ignition.
- Turn the key from the “Off” to the “Run” position (do not start the engine) and cycle it back to “Off.” Do this quickly, within 5 seconds.
- Within 10 seconds of turning the key to “Off” in step 2, insert the second existing working key fob and turn it to the “Run” position (again, do not start the engine).
- Cycle the second key from “Off” to “Run” and back to “Off” within 5 seconds. You should hear a chime to indicate that the vehicle has entered programming mode.
- Take the new key fob you want to program and press any button on it within 8 seconds of hearing the chime.
- If you have multiple key fobs to program, repeat steps 3-5 for each of them within the 8-second window.
- Turn the ignition to the “Run” position. This should end the programming mode.
