Follow the following steps to open the hood:
- Pull the hood release lever on the left side of the driver’s side. The lever is near where the driver’s left foot rests during driving.
- Approach the hood.
- Place one or two fingers under the hood to feel a secondary hood release lever.
- Push the lever to the left to release the hood.
- Lift the hood.
- Remove the prop rod from its resting place and insert it on the holder on the hood cover to keep the hood open.
