Dodge Challenger: How to Connect a Phone

Connecting a phone to a car has become crucial for almost everyone who drives a car. Connecting your phone to a car lets you stream music or podcasts through the stereo system. In addition, you can also make phone calls and keep your hands free. Below are directions for connecting a phone to the Dodge Challenger.

2022 – 2023 Models

  1. Open the Settings app on your phone.
  2. Tap Bluetooth.
  3. Tap Phone on the car’s touch screen.
  4. Tap Pairing.
  5. Tap Paired Phones and Audio Devices.
  6. Tap Add Device.
  7. Tap Uconnect in the Bluetooth options on your phone.
  8. Verify the PIN on your phone is the same as on the touch screen.
  9. Tap Yes on the touch screen.
  10. Tap Pair on your phone.
  11. Your phone is now connected.

2015 – 2021 Models

  1. Open the Settings app on your phone.
  2. Tap Bluetooth.
  3. Tap Media on the car’s touch screen.
  4. Tap the Bluetooth logo.
  5. Tap Add Device.
  6. Tap Uconnect in the Bluetooth options on your phone.
  7. Verify the PIN on your phone is the same as on the touch screen.
  8. Tap Yes on the touch screen.
  9. Tap Pair on your phone.
  10. You will be asked if you want to make your phone the favorite. Tap Yes or No as you decide.
  11. Your phone is now connected.

2011 – 2014 Models

  1. Press the Phone button.
  2. The car system will say, “Ready.”
  3. Say “Device Pairing.”
  4. Say “Pair a Device” when prompted. The system will ask you to say a PIN.
  5. Say the PIN you want to use. You will need this later in the process.
  6. Open the Settings app on your phone.
  7. Tap Bluetooth.
  8. Tap the Bluetooth option for your car.
  9. Enter the PIN you gave the system.
  10. When prompted, give your phone a name.
  11. Assign your phone a priority level of one to seven. Number one is the highest priority, and seven is the lowest priority.

2008 – 2010 Models

  1. Press the Phone button.
  2. The car system will say, “Ready.”
  3. Say “Setup Phone Pairing.”
  4. Say “Pair a Phone” when prompted. The system will ask you to say a PIN.
  5. Say the PIN you want to use. You will need this later in the process.
  6. Open the Settings app on your phone.
  7. Tap Bluetooth.
  8. Tap the Bluetooth option for your car.
  9. Enter the PIN you gave the system.
  10. When prompted, give your phone a name.
  11. Assign your phone a priority level of one to seven. Number one is the highest priority, and seven is the lowest priority.
