Dodge Avenger: How to Open Trunk

People who drive or ride in a car frequently utilize the cargo space in the trunk. For some people, the trunk is used daily, and they cannot live without it. People use the trunk to haul groceries, tools, sporting equipment, etc. No matter how often you use the trunk, you must know how to open it. Below are the directions on opening a Dodge Avenger’s trunk.

The Dodge Avenger has two ways you can open the trunk. Both ways of opening the trunk are included below. You may use one method more than the other, but it is still good to know both ways.

2008 – 2014 Models

Keyfob

1. Press the Trunk button on the keyfob twice.
2. Walk to the rear of the vehicle.
3. Lift the trunk open completely.

Inside the Vehicle

1. Press the Trunk button on the left side of the dash.
2. Walk to the rear of the vehicle.
3. Lift the trunk open completely.

1995 – 2000 Models

Inside the Vehicle

1. Press the Trunk button on the left side of the dash.
2. Walk to the rear of the vehicle.
3. Lift the trunk open completely.

Outside the Vehicle

1. Insert the key into the lock on the trunk.
2. Turn the key to unlock the trunk.
3. Lift the trunk open.
