If you need to get into the inner workings of your vehicle, here’s how to open the hood of a Mercedes Benz Sprinter. These instructions apply to all available models.

2001 – 2007 Models

1. There is a lever near the floor to the left of the driver seat’s footwell. Pull down on the lever to release the hood.
2. There is another lever in the center of the gap between the hood and the grill. Squeeze the lever inwards, and the hood will open the rest of the way.
3. Make sure to support the hood with the prop rod (found on the left or right side) so that it doesn’t collapse as you work on your vehicle.
