1. Stand behind the bed of your truck
2. Grab the latch on your tailgate and pull
3. Gently lower the tailgate to its resting position

If you have an automatic tailgate, you can lower it by using the key fob.

1. Be within 3 feet of the tailgate
2. Press the tailgate button once to unlock
3. Press the tailgate button 2x to lower it.
