Volkswagen Jetta: Connect a Phone

You can pair your Volkswagen Jetta with your phone and access many features. Find your model year below to start paring your car and phone.

2021 – 2022 Models

  1. Park your car and turn your car to Accessory Mode.
  2. On your phone, navigate to your settings and turn on your Bluetooth.
  3. Initiate a Bluetooth scan for new devices.
  4. Select “VW Phone.”
  5. Allow your vehicle to sync your address book and connect automatically.
  6. You’ll receive a 6-digit pin (on the vehicle display and your device).
  7. Ensure the pin matches; press the OK button on your steering wheel.
  8. Click”Pair Phone” on your phone.
  9. Your car and phone are now connected.

2018 – 2020 Models

  1. Park your car and turn your car to On.
  2. On your phone, navigate to your settings and turn on your Bluetooth.
  3. Initiate a Bluetooth scan for new devices.
  4. Select “VW BT ####.” The four-digit number you will see is the last four digits of your VIN.
  5. On your Jetta infotainment display, you will receive a connection request.
  6. Select”Connect.”
  7. Your car display will next show a PIN, and the same PIN will appear on your phone.
  8. Confirm that the PINs match by selecting”Yes” on the display and “Pair” on your device.
  9. Your car and phone are now connected.

2012 – 2015 Models

  1. Park your car and turn your car to On.
  2. On your phone, navigate to your settings and turn on your Bluetooth.
  3. On your infotainment display, select Bluetooth.
  4. Search for devices.
  5. Select”Results.”
  6. Select your device from the list of available devices.
  7. Next, select Bluetooth Audio or Handsfree.
  8. Confirm that the PINs match what is on your display and phone.
  9. Press”Yes” on your display.
  10. Choose”Pair” on your phone.
  11. Your car and phone are now connected.

2010 – 2011 Models

  1. Park your car and turn your car to On.
  2. On your phone, navigate to your settings and turn on your Bluetooth.
  3. On your infotainment display, select”Setup.”
  4. Select the Bluetooth icon to turn on your car’s Bluetooth.
  5. Search for devices.
  6. Select”Results.”
  7. Select your device from the list of available devices.
  8. Your car and phone are now connected.
