Ford Ecosport: Connect a Phone

Pairing your mobile phone with your Ford EcoSport will enable you to make hands-free calls and listen to music through a Bluetooth-paired system.

2018 – 2022 Models

1. On your mobile device, navigate to your settings and turn on your Bluetooth.
2. On your SYNC touchscreen and tap the phone button.
3. Then select “Add Phone.”
4. On your phone, initiate a search and select “SYNC” from the list of devices.
5. Next, you will receive a six-digit code. Ensure the code on your phone and your SYNC screen match. Select “Pair” on your phone.
6. Newer models will automatically connect once you select “SYNC” from step number 4 above.
7. Once connected, you will receive a confirmation on your SYNC screen that the connection is complete.

I’ve followed the procedures, but why won’t my Ford EcoSport pair with my phone?

If you’ve tried the recommended methods, but your Ford EcoSport doesn’t connect to your phone with Bluetooth, try to delete some saved phones. Generally, once you reach a maximum number, the vehicle system won’t allow you to pair more devices unless you delete some.
