2011 – 2017 Models
- Turn on the ignition but don’t start the engine.
- On the right side of the steering wheel, you’ll see three buttons, the square, circle, and trip reset buttons.
- Press the square button several times, then go to Settings.
- Next, press the Circle button several times to go to Maintenance.
- Press the Square button to enter.
- Press the Circle button to select the Oil menu, then press the Square button to enter.
- Press the Circle button to set the miles, then use the Square button to save.
- Select Reset using the Circle button, and enter with the Square button.
- Finally, save your service/maintenance notification reset by pressing the square button.
2000 – 2010 Models
- Turn the ignition on without starting the car.
- Wait three seconds.
- Push the accelerator fully five times in under five seconds.
- Take your foot off the accelerator and wait 7 seconds.
- Push and hold the accelerator for about 10 seconds or until the indicator light starts flashing.
- Release the accelerator pedal.
- Turn the ignition to the off position and then start the car. The service notification will go off.
