The Buick Enclave will display a “Change Engine Oil Soon” message on the instrument panel when the computer system senses the vehicle has travelled 3,000 miles since the last service. Once the maintenance service is performed, you can reset the oil light using these steps.
2020-2021 Models
- Press the “Engine Start/Stop” button once without holding the brake to turn the electronics on. Do not start the engine.
- Use the ◄► on the steering wheel to arrow over to select the “(i) Info” page. Press ✔ to select.
- Use the ▲▼ buttons to toggle the selection to “Oil Life” or “Remaining Oil Life“.
- Press and hold ✔ on the steering wheel until the oil maintenance system resets to 100%.
2018-2019 Models
- Press the ◄ button to bring up the menu.
- Use the ▲▼ buttons to toggle the selection “(i) Info” page. Press ✔ to select.
- Use the ▲▼ buttons to scroll down and highlight “Oil Life“.
- Press and hold ✔ on the steering wheel until the oil maintenance system resets to 100%.
2008-2017 Models
- Turn the ignition to “On“. Do not start the engine. Also ensure the gear is placed in “P/Park“.
- Press the “Vehicle Info”
button located on the center console repeatedly until the “Oil Life” is displayed. - Press and hold the “OK” or ✔️ button until the Oil Life resets to 100%.
