Are you trying to figure out how to use the remote start feature on the Chevy Equinox? There’s nothing like walking out to a warm vehicle in the Winter!
We’ll show you how to start the vehicle using the key fob here in this guide.
All Models
- Push the lock button on the keyfob twice. You should see the hazard light flash once.
- Press and hold the remote start button on the keyfob until the hazard light flashes again.
If the turn signal lamps flash, the Equinox has remotely started successfully. By default, the engine will shut off after 15 minutes if the ignition is not started.
If you wish to cancel the remote start and shift the engine off remotely, press and hold the 
“Lock” button until the parking lamps turn off.
