Nissan Rogue: How to Set The Clock

Setting the clock time in the Nissan Rogue is required after every battery change and (for some models) if you travel to a different time zone. Using the image which suits your vehicle, here are the uncomplicated steps to follow to set the time on the clock.

NOTE: If you are unable to set the Time on the first try, REPEAT the steps. If you are still unsuccessful, contact the dealership for assistance or consult your vehicle user’s manual.

2013 – 2023 Models

Without a Navigation Screen

  1. With your vehicle in the ON position without starting the engine.
  2. Press the ENTER SETTING knob (Red arrow in the image).
  3. Turn the same knob to scroll to CLOCK ADJUST.
  4. Press the ENTER SETTING knob to select.
  5. Turn the knob to highlight the HOUR, choose the hour, and press the knob again to confirm the selection.
  6. Once more, turn the knob to highlight the MINUTES, choose the minutes and press the knob again to confirm the selection.
  7. To go back to the previous screen, press the BACK button (Yellow box in the image).

With a Navigation Screen

  1. With your vehicle in the ON position without starting the engine. 
  2. Press the MENU button to the left of the control panel.
  3. Touch SETTINGS.
  4. Touch CLOCK.
  5. Touch ON-SCREEN CLOCK to turn the time display ON/OFF.
  6. Touch CLOCK MODE to select Auto, Time Zone, or Manual.
  7. Touch CLOCK FORMAT to select 12h or 24h formats.
  8. Touch DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME to turn this feature ON/OFF.
  9. Touch TIME ZONE to select Pacific, Eastern, Mountain, etc., when you want to override the GPS selection. 
  10. Touch the + and   icons to set the TIME.

2008 – 2012 Models

  1. Start your car.
  2. Locate the “Clock” button on the audio system or the instrument panel.
  3. Press and hold the clock button until the time starts to flash.
  4. Use the tuning knob or buttons (usually labeled “Tune” or “Seek”) to adjust the hours.
  5. Press the “Clock” button again to switch to the minutes display.
  6. Use the tuning knob or buttons to adjust the minutes.
  7. Press the “Clock” button again to save the settings.

TIP: Turning on the GPS TIME and selecting AUTO in clock mode will allow the system to automatically adjust your time dependent on your present location. This feature will change your clock when you cross into a different time zone.
